Samsung S5560 Marvel is a well designed touchscreen phone furnished with high-end multimedia features while Nokia N97 Mini is highly appealing 3G capable smartphone packed with QWWERTY keyboard and wide array of business and multimedia features.
The former device has been beautified with 3.0 inches TFT resistive touchscreen that can resolve 240 x 400 Pixels and able to show up to 262k colors. It is ultra lightweight device carrying only 95.3 grams along with 107.5 x 52 x 13.2 mm measurements. On the contrary, latter one is a winner as it embeds 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen capable of viewing 16M colors at the resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. Though both of these are empowered by 5 MP camera but Samsung S5560 Marvel’s camera is backed by autofocus, LED flash, Smile and blink detection, image stabilization while Nokia N97 Mini‘s camera is supported with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Dual LED flash, video light, 14 x Digital Zoom, Picture & Video Geo Tagging, CoverFlow Photo Viewer and many other functionalities as well as you are facilitated with a second VGA videocall camera.
Former Samsung S5560 is capable to provide SMS, MMS & Email services but besides these, the latter device can also deliver Push Email (SMTP, IMAP4 & POP3), Email with Attachments, Email Web Widget & Instant Messaging. Both of the rival are laden with WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser but apart from this, Nokia’s phone supports RSS feeds too.
Samsung has shown misery to give GPS & document viewer while Nokia has given these in a grand manner with A-GPS support, Nokia Maps & Digital compass. GPRS & EDGE (Class 10 in former one & Class 32 in latter one), WLAN Wi-Fi (UPnP technology in latter device), Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP (v2.0 with A2DP in second one) & USB features can be used for connectivity form both of the competitors. Needless to say in this regard too Nokia’s device is the winner as it also supports 3G HSDPA.
